This is such an awesome competition – with a great prize! I get super paranoid about my bags when travelling long term, especially as most travel backpacks don’t have robust security features. This would be a great luggage choice for a grown-up gap year :)

@Kasha – Can’t lie, I was super impressed with the backpack. I can see a few of the safety features becoming standard in the next couple of years.
Definitely love the anti-slash and anti-punture zip. The fact that you could just leave your bag somewhere and someone wouldn’t be physically able to touch any of your stuff is amazing!

I’ve been using my mom’s backpack from when she was 22, from the moment I was 14 and hopped on a plane to Italy by myself. My bucketlist makes me travel to at least 3 new countries a year (while working full time), so I can see the entire world by the time I’m 75. Buuuuut my backpack has given it’s last breath of air in my dormroom in Cambodia. I’d love a new one. And I’d love it even more if it was this bag, the safety features are amazing. Maybe now I can get some sleep on nightbusses without getting paranoid :) .
@Rebecca – I was a big fan of the zip locks, and the wire mechanism which allowed me to secure the backpack to my bunkbed. Some great features!
@NJ – That’s sad that your old backpack and finally given in, but what a journey!! Good luck in the prize draw.
Great bag! Fingers crossed I’ll be able to take one of these badboys on my gap year.
Cheers!
I love the padded laptop area. I’m always worried about where to stash my laptop. This would be so perfect for my new life on the road! :)

@Tom – best of luck Tom. Hope you have an amazing time on your gap year!
@Hayley – Must admit that I didn’t use the laptop area when I took the backpack to Fuerteventura. Another great feature though. Hope you’re enjoying Vietnam.
