I landed back from a joint stag weekend in Sopot, Poland yesterday.  Safe to say i’m still in a period of recovery, but whilst i’m still on leave i thought i’d post some pictures of the most amazing beach resort we stayed in.  Sopot is a 20 minute taxi ride from Gdansk airport.  Located in northern Poland on the coach facing Sweden, it is stil reliatevly quiet in terms of backpacking, although it does have good train links (the state of the trains is questionable).

We found the food of good quality and cheap.  The beers are also cheap but pack a mighty punch, much stronger than we’re used to in London … and it showed.  The clubs werent massive but were packed each night and played a good selection of music.  There are even a few nice bars scattered along the beach which is a minute walk from the main street.

The weather was mixed whilst we were there (as you ca see from my photos), but by the end of the weekend we were all sporting sun burnt faces.  However we have all agreed that a weeks holiday there is the near future is not out of the question.
