This weeks photo comes from New Zealands south island. It was taken at Lake Rotoiti which is located between Nelson and Westport. Our Kiwi Experience bus didnt stay long at the lake, but just long enough to take some very atmospheric and eerie photos of the mist covered lake and surrounding area. It could easily be a set location for a movie … if it hasn’t already.

Love the atmosphere in that picture – very serene. I’ve somehow missed out on Lake Rotoiti. How can it be that each and every lake in New Zealand is so incredibly beautiful? My favourite is Moke Lake though :)
@Christina – Thanks, glad you liked it. Pretty much everything in NZ was incredibly beautiful, I’d love to go back and take another couple of thousand pictures.
