Transport from London airports, surely you just get a cab dont you? Straight from the terminal to your cosy hotel, hostel or appartment. Oh I wish it was that simple! Whilst London has an abundance of airports for the most part the ‘London’ part is a little white lie, the majority arent really inside the m25. Take a look at the map below if you dont believe me. If you’re visiting London chances are you’ll be staying fairly centrally, propably within that little red diamond area. Now look at where the ‘London’ airports are (red pins) … not particuarly close are they!?
Anyway, the point of this post is not to have a rant, but to tell you about your options, how exactly you can get from the different airports into central London. Now obviously you could just take a taxi, but thats going to cost you a small fortune. Instead please find below the different train and coach options available to you.
