London to Venice by train? With no luggage?
No luggage no problem?
No, not exactly, there were definitely a few mini problems that came about through having ‘lost’ my luggage, but on the whole my journey from London to Venice by train with no luggage was still a lot of fun.
Last week I bought you the write up on my #MSMLostLuggage experience, and this week I bring to you the video. Admittedly the video doesn’t cover so many of the lost luggage difficulties, it’s more a video to highlight the journey and then the incredible sights within Venice. I hope it’s still an enjoyable watch though!

Neil this video is so cool! I’ve always wanted to go to Venice. I know the gondolas can be super touristy but seeing a new place from the water is one of my favourite things to do :)

@Beverley – The gondolas are touristy, but they also reach parts of the city no street does, so worth it just to see more of the city. They were also rather relaxing, whereas walking the narrow streets was sometimes a battle. Venice was high on my list of ‘must visit’ for a while, so glad I got to go and hope that one day you make it too.
I just watched your video. Which route you took to enter Italy? There are two routes from train paris to milan and Parisa to rome? I believe its better if you came from Milan and then go to venice. What you say?
@Syed – I did Paris to Milan, but couldnt say it was any better/worse as I have not taken the Paris to Rome route.
