Somewhat last minute, but I am off to Dublin for the very first time weekend, awesome!.
In fact by the time you read this I shall either be on the plane, or already touched down in terminal 1 at Dublin international. From there its a whirlwind Saturday and Sunday of adventure, with the goal of achieving as much as I can in 48 hours.
Dublin in 48 hours
Yep, that’s it, just a mere 48 hours, and that’s 48 hours door to door, from London to Dublin and back to London again. Maybe less of a whirlwind, more of a tornado. Seems crazy right? But at the same time I’m betting it can be done, that I can see crazy amounts of Dublin and do all kinds of wonderful things in and around the city within that short timespan. Truth be told, I’ve already planned to do the following …
- Etihad skyline walk around Croke Park
- Wakeboarding
- The Science Museum
- The Guiness Storehouse
- Temple Bar (obvs)
- Kilmainham Gaol
- A photo walk of the northern coastline
… and more, including bars, food and live music – they almost go without saying.
So, as I mentioned, its a bit of a whirlwind, but I’m buzzing about it. Better get my skates on really. See you again in 48 hours time.
I’ve been following your FB Dublin updates and you just made me sure I need to return to Dublin asap! It has obviously changed since my last visit and I think I’d like it even more!

@Kami – Thanks Kami. I hadn’t been before, so no previous visits to compare against, really enjoyed it though, much more to do than simply drink in Temple Bar.
