Day 2 Mini Summary:

Drive from Belfast to Derry,  5 hrs in total, most of it in the rain. See the Belfast Marathon runners as we leave the city.  Drive the north east coast via the coastal route,  occasionally the sea air would become very pungent, you could taste the salt at the back of your throat.  We stopped at a small town called BallyCastle for a while, but it soon started raining again and we were forced to flee back to the car.  We had planned to walk/crawl over the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge, sadly the weather meant that the bridge was closed to visitors, we were totally gutted the rope bridge wasn’t open, the weather was not our friend. Giants Causeway was pretty epic though!  In the evening once we arrived in Derry and checked in at our hostel we hit a local pub to sample some live Irish music.
